I see you before me
I am a wolf
a wild animal
needing heat
I can’t be gentle
I can’t be loving
I have a bite that will hurt
and I will wake you
with a howl
you entered my cave
and I growl
you don’t seem scared
you don’t seem afraid of
what I could do to you
perhaps I should fear
are you just like me
another who cannot be gentle
another who bites
we shall see
